LOS ANGELES BLITZ
The Los Angeles Blitz is back to back trips and one of the most popular. Our expert river guides will provide you with instruction in paddling, ferrying, navigating the rapids, and will accompany you on your trip down the river. This section of the Kern has five class 2 and 3 rapids, Little Mama, Big Daddy, Sidewinder, Freight Train, and the famous Ewings Rapid. Once you to get the hang of things on your first trip, your river guide will then put your new skills to the test on your second run, taking more advanced and technical routes on the river.
Clothes you don't mind getting wet in.
Shoes! Either water shoes, sneakers you don't mind getting wet, or sandals with a heel strap. Flip flops and bare feet are not allowed.
Sunscreen (apply before your tour).
What not to bring
Anything you don't want to lose or get wet
Towels, backpacks, large water bottles
Pets.
